4th Annual Transplant Trot - Waterloo 2015

Fundraising:
Participants who wish to fundraise for this event can either do so via the The Running Room website or download a Transplant Trot Pledge Form and bring their donations with them on event day to the registration booth.

5th Annual Transplant Trot - London 2015 in memory of Leslie Petter

You are invited to join transplant recipients, donors and donor families, friends, families and supporters, as we celebrate the success of organ and tissue donation in one of London’s largest awareness events! The Transplant Trot is a CTA signature event held in various cities across the country.

Funds from the London 5k run/walk will support the Leslie Petter Memorial Award and the CTA. Leslie, an amazing friend, teacher, mentor, athlete and bone marrow transplant recipient, was instrumental in organizing the first Transplant Trot in London.

REGISTRATION FEE: Early-bird fee $25 until March 31st (Late fee: $30)

Fee includes 5k run/walk, t-shirt, and a BBQ lunch!

Children 10 and under, accompanied by an adult, are free.

For those not registered as runners or walkers, a donation at the BBQ is welcomed. Bring lawn chairs and any special dietary needs.

Parking: West on Grosvenor off Richmond Street OR west on Victoria off Richmond Street and follow the Gibbon Park signs. Follow the green/white balloons and meet at the Pavilion. (Map of the course will be available soon)


AWARDS, PRIZES, BIG DRAW

MEDALS and PRIZES will be awarded to the first 3 female and male finishers, in the run and the walk, at the finish line.


DRAW PRIZES:

List of draw results and prizes will be posted during the walk/run.


BIG DRAW: Will take place at the end of the walk/run – need to be there to win!

Awards will be presented to the top 2 finishers in each category. Each registrant will receive a ‘goodie bag’.
There will be an Early Bird prize for those who register by May 1, 2015. There will be prize draws for participants. All prizes will be drawn during the race.

Toronto has been accepted as the next location for hosting the National Games in 2016.
The date set is August the 8th through to the 13th 2016.
