XIX World Transplant Games
Durban, South Africa recently hosted the 19th World Transplant Games from July 28 to August 4th, the largest organ donation awareness event with over 900 transplant recipients, ages 4 to 80 years, from over 50 countries. Athletes competed in various Olympic-style sporting events while 900 supporters cheered them on.
Team Canada had 73 participants, including 37 accompanying persons and 36 recipient-athletes who received 14 gold, 21 silver and 15 bronze medals.

The CTA and Team Canada sends a very big, heartfelt thank you to Astellas for their significant contribution.

Remembering Linda Rowe
To Earl & Family,
Thank you very much for your generous support of the 2013 team. Your commitment to organ donation awareness is an inspiration to the community, and your donation made a direct impact on our recipient-athletes.  We are forever grateful.
